How
can I book a tour to India ? Is there a list of tours I can choose
from?
First we recommend that
you go through "PACKAGE
TOURS", which include various tours that we have been
selling very successfully since a very long time. The tours under
"PACKAGE TOURS",
are listed under different categories like India Packages, Outbound
Packages, Airline packages etc. and you can buy them on as it is
basis. If however you feel that these tours need to be fine-tuned
to coincide with your flight schedule, and if you need to add or
reduce number of nights at any city, then you must send us your
request and our travel experts will get back to you shortly with
necessary changes and tour cost.
What
if I do not like any of the tours listed on the site? Can Paradise
Tour tailor-make a tour for me?

Further you will also have to inform us some other factors like
duration, number of people traveling together, approximate dates,
the city of your arrival and departure and choice of hotels you

How
to pay? Is there an advance deposit required?
We insist on a nominal deposit
of US $ 100 or a 20% of the total tour cost (whichever is more)
to be sent to us as soon as the itinerary and the tour cost has
been finalized. This is an authorization for us to go ahead with
the reservations. The balance however can be settled on your arrival
in India. In some cases like the special train journeys, special
air fare tickets or resorts/hotels during the very peak seasons
(Christmas, New Year), full
payments are needed in advance.
What
are the forms of payments?
If payment is by a bank cheque, the cheque can be made in
the name of PARADISE TOUR CO. (INDIA) PVT. LTD. and sent to us

If the money is to be settled by American Express, we will be charging you 3 percent extra and will require fax copy of your credit card from both sides and an authorisation in the following format duly signed by you. Most of the time, in the photocopies the batch code on the card does not come out clear. This is the four digit number given on the right hand side of the card (just above the card number). Please always mention this batch code number.

For all International
air bookings, you can check flight schedule & availability by
clicking on "AIR TICKETS" at home page and send us your
requirement & we will reply you within 24 hours.
Is
the information I give on the net is safe?
Any correspondence exchanged
between you and PARADISE TOUR will be kept confidential and not
outsourced to any third party under any circumstances. The credit
card details you provide are safe. Moreover your profile (name,
Email ID, address, Telephone number) will be used only to communicate
with you in regards to the services you are buying or availing.
At no time will this profile be misused.
Where
can I apply for an Indian Visa?
You are requested to get in touch with the nearest Indian Embassy/
Commission who will appraise you with the other formalities required.

Are there any India
Tourist Offices near my home?
The Government of India
Tourist Offices are located all over the world for any information
that you may require pertaining to India as a destination, you may
contact them or we will be pleased to be at your assistance.
Can
I book only the accommodation since I am coming on business?
If you are only looking
at accommodation options and not a full fledged tour or a holiday,
then you may click on "HOTEL
BOOKINGS" and we have some exciting packages worked
out with various hotels. Under this category you can choose City
Stopovers and Beach Stays. Still if you feel that the hotel or the
accommodations you want are not listed on the site, then simply

relevant details.
About
the distance of hotel from the Airport ?
Normally the time taken
from the International Airport to the city hotels is about 35 minutes.
This depends upon the condition of the traffic at the time of the
day. The distance varies from 22 to 33 kilometers. For the hotels
near the International Airport, the time taken is between 10 minutes
to 15 minutes and the distance varies from 5 to 11 kilometers. From
the Domestic Airport, the distance to the city hotels is 17 to 28
kilometers and the time taken is approximately 20 to 35 minutes.
The time taken for the hotels near the Domestic airport is 10 to
15 minutes and the distance varies from 6 to 12 kilometers.
While
delivering and briefing of Travel documents.
i)
Where the guide will meet the guests ?
The car & the guide
will report at the hotel well before the pick up time for the sightseeing
or will meet at the monument if the sightseeing is to be provided
for an en-route monument. The guide and the drivers are informed
and briefed by us before the start of the tour about the pick up
time and the meeting place for the sightseeing etc.
ii)
Who will inform /brief the guests about his further program at the
destination ?
Our representative or
the guides will inform the guest's of their further program at the
destinations.
iii)
How much tips to be given to the porters, drivers and the guests
?
Tips
are dependent of the services provided. A small amount of money
can be given at each service to ensure prompt and reliable service.
For guides it depends on how informative, knowledgeable, helpful
they are.
iv)
Whether it is good and cheap to eat outside the hotel (restaurants)
?
Some of the restaurants
are cheaper and frequently visited by the local people. So sometimes
yes, it is a good experience to eat outside the hotels and get to
meet the local population.
v)
Any cheap option to make ISD calls ?
Now the government has
opened STD and ISD booths in most parts of Delhi and in India. We
recommend that you call from these booths, they are reliable and
give you receipts for calls made.
vi)
How their return International tickets will be reconfirmed &
who will do it ?
The international and
the domestic air sector tickets are reconfirmed by us at no extra
cost for the guest's booked to travel with us. We even extend this
service as a courtesy to other travelers if any assistance is required.
vii)
If their domestic air/railway tickets for all sectors are confirmed
& incase any sector is waitlisted , what alternate option we
will give them ?
We offer alternative arrangements
in case the flight tickets are not confirmed or have no chances
of getting confirmed. Railway Journey or by surface. We always look
at various factors such as the condition of the roads, time of travel
and the time taken to cover the distance, comfort and offer the
best possible option with consultation, acceptance and agreement
with the guest.
viii)
If the drivers at all places can communicate in English and whether
the same driver used on arrival transfer will be with them throughout?
Most of our drivers understand
English if spoken slowly and clearly. We always try to send the
same driver who has done the arrival transfer.
ix)
What will be the standard and quality of the car/coach in the program?
Looking at the condition
of the roads in India we have a fairly reliable and a sturdy fleet
of cars & busses. To make sure our guest's comfort all our car
& buses are air-conditioned.
During
the loss of Baggage.
i)
How to go about the procedures to get the lost baggage ?
In case a bag is
lost in transit by the airlines, you have to file a lost baggage
report with the airlines. If the guest continues with the journey,
we collect the baggage from the airlines for the guest. For the
collection of a lost baggage We need the following:
1. We need an authorization
from the guest authorizing our representative to collect the baggage
on their behalf.
2. A photocopy of the
passport of the guest, a letter addressed to the Superintendent
customs.
3. The keys of the lost
bag for custom clearance.
4. The original copy of
the lost baggage report lodged with the airlines.
We will deliver
the bag at the doorstep and bill the guest for the services provided.
The amount of the invoice can be collected from the airlines at
home.
ii)
Will the airline pay for the damage and temporary compensation?
Yes, the airlines pays
an inconvenience allowance to buy personal effects. They even offer
the baggage delivery charges or sometimes offers to deliver the
baggage by them selves at the doorstep. iii)
How to take the claim for the damages?
We take the guest to the
office of the airlines and the amount is given to the guest upon
presenting the original lost baggage report.
In
case of complaints.
Contact
any of our offices / associates and we will look into the nature
of complaint and advise you accordingly.
i)
How to get the refund for unutilised services?
Any bonafied refunds are
immediately refunded in India by us in India rupees only, in case
payment made directly to us. The Indian rupees can be changed at
the International Airport at the time of the departure or at branches
of Thomas Cook or American Express or Central Bank of India, Ashok
Hotel Branch, Delhi.
As per business ethics,
in case booking is through our Overseas Agent, then refund will
be rerouted by the Agent only.
