12 Days Delhi-Mandawa-Jaipur-Agra-Khajuraho-Varanasi-Kathmandu

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel of your choice.

Day 02 : Delhi

Morning, city tour of Old Delhi, includes, the Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial), the Jama Masjid (Universal Mosque), the Red Fort and fabled Chandni Chowk (Silver Street). Afternoon, city tour of New Delhi, includes, the Qutub Minar, the Emperor Humayun’s Tomb, the Houses of Parliament and the Presidential Palace.

Day 03 : Delhi – Mandawa (257 Kms/ 6 Hrs)

Morning, drive to Mandawa through the industrial belt of Haryana State and small towns of Rajasthan. On arrival check in at a old castle, now converted into a heritage hotel. Afternoon, walk through this small village, with it’s ancient houses and traditional wall paintings. This region is also called the open air art-gallery of India. Late afternoon, optional camel ride into the sand dunes surrounding Mandawa.

Day 04 : Mandawa – Jaipur (151 Kms/ 4 Hrs)

A 4 hours drive, with a halt at Fatehpur to see some more fabulously painted houses, brings us to Jaipur also widely known as the Pink City. On arrival, check in to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon free to walk through the colorful bazaars of this city.

Day 05 : Jaipur

Morning visit the Amber Fort, as the Maharajas did during medieval times, on elephant back. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur visiting the City Palace of the Jaipur Maharaja, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and the Jantar Mantar (Royal Observatory).

Day 06 : Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra ( By road – 6 hours drive )

Morning, depart for Agra by surface. A 6 hours drive through the vast farmlands of Uttar Pradesh State. Enroute visiting the Mughal Emperor Akbar Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival, check in to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon visit the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at sunset.

Day 07 : Agra – Khajuraho ( By flight )

Morning transfer to the airport to fly to Khajuraho, a city of Living Temples. On arrival, met and transferred to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon visit the architectural marvels of "The Khajuraho Temples".

Day 08 : Khajuraho – Varanasi ( By flight )

Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to the airport to fly to Varanasi, one of the holiest Hindu cities and still thriving on its religious past. Afternoon tour of Sarnath.

Day 09 : Varanasi - Kathmandu ( By flight )

Late morning, transfer to the airport to fly to Kathmandu. On arrival, met and transferred to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the Patan and the Tibetan handicraft.

Day 10 : Kathmandu

Morning visit the temples of Bhadgaon, Boudhnath and the Pashupatinath. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 11 : Kathmandu

Morning sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu City and the Swayambunath. Afternoon optional excursion to Dhulikhel, for a spectacular view of the Greater Himalayas.

Day 12 : Kathmandu Departure

Room till noon time. On time transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
